Meet your therapist

I’m Wendy.
You’re welcome here, just as you are.

I’m glad you’re here. Therapy with me is a place where you can exhale, be fully yourself, and talk honestly about what is weighing on you without fear of judgment. I bring warmth, compassion, humor, and nearly 23 years of counseling and mental health support to our work together. We will move at a pace that feels right for you and work side by side toward the healing, clarity, and change you want.

01 / My story

A lifelong learner who believes you can feel better and do better.

I founded DuraCare Counseling & Consulting Services in 2010 and have spent my career helping people, teams, and organizations move from stuck to supported. I have led physicians, nurses, counselors, social workers, and developing clinicians while continuing to work directly with clients.

My professional path began in education, where I taught secondary social studies and later served as a school counselor providing mental health support. That work began during graduate training and continued before I became independently licensed. Together, it represents nearly 23 years of counseling and mental health support.

My love of learning shapes how I practice, teach, lead, and serve. My education spans counseling, educational leadership, naturopathy, history, political science, theology, organizational leadership, and artificial intelligence. Each area gives me another way to understand people, systems, growth, and change.

“The first step to getting anywhere is deciding you’re not willing to stay where you are.”

Warm

You will be met with encouragement, compassion, and respect—not labels or judgment.

We build the plan together. Your goals, culture, identity, and lived experience matter.
